Back-in-Play AS Awareness Campaign

The Back-in-Play campaign was launched today, June 8th. The Premiership footballer Rory Delap has, along with a number of footballers across Europe, come onboard to support ‘Back in Play’, a European wide campaign to raise awareness of AS. The campaign's first phase launches in Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland and Greece. A second phase is planned soon for some other European countries.


Annual Arthritis Ireland and ASAI lecture

Eminent rheumatologist and AS specialist, Professor Joachim Sieper, will be giving this years lecture on Thursday 29th October.

23 June 2009: Galway hurling star Joe Canning today launches the second "Get Your Back Up" public awareness campaign for Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS).

Irish people urged not to dismiss lower back pain. Irish International and Munster legend John Hayes, lined out today to launch "Get Your Back Up", a public awareness campaign created to raise awareness of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS).
